Cyber Essentials offer for charities – ends 6th Nov

Cyber Essentials certification is available to charities at a discounted price of £225 (instead of £300) for one week only, ending Friday 6th November at 5pm. IASME (who are the accreditation body for Cyber Essentials) are running this campaign.
The high profile cyber attack Blackbaud earlier this year impacted several third sector organisations and demonstrated the damage that a successful cyber attack can inflict. The third sector is facing increasing pressure, with the additional cyber security risks rising from staff working from home during the COVID crisis. IASME are running this offer in recognition of these pressures and to support charities to get the right cyber security controls in place.
The Cyber Essentials scheme, backed by the UK Government, addresses the five core technical controls have been proven to prevent 80% of cyber attacks. Our previous blogs give a good overview of the scheme. Certification also now includes cyber liability insurance for UK organisations who meet the criteria.
In order to qualify for this current offer charities must:
- Submit your application by Friday 6th November at 5pm
- You then have one month to complete your assessment, the final cut off date is 18th December 2020
